Creative Enquiry Curriculum which takes a thematic approach to the curriculum has been trialled. Observations and discussions with staff confirmed this had had positive outcomes for all pupils. Where best practice was observed there is an effective balance between exposing children to novel, challenging experiences and ensuring that they feel safe and secure such lessons created a real sense of captivating excitement and enjoyment.
